Transmissions Quilts is producing an ambient music album in collaboration with Cone Shape Top Imprint to explore the rich history of quilts and sound.  at this special BUBBLES day we will be sharing an album teaser, imbuing your traditional sauna experience with sounds from the forthcoming album set to release this summer.

this event will include live performances from special guests, quilts and photos installed throughout the space and warm broth and Chè Bắp (Vietnamese sweet corn pudding) provided by @vietnomnom_oakland. performances will be happening throughout the day and we suggest you arrive ~20 minutes early to your sauna to catch a performance.

you do not need to book a sauna to attend! individual tickets are being sold at a sliding scale of $5-$25 (NOTAFLOF!) and will get you access to live performances, the gallery grounds, a Transmissions zine, the album, and the community quilting bee. food will be sold separately with 100% of proceeds going directly to a @bay2gaza! come through!!!
