the saunas
we have four cedar saunas available for private rental, each with different seating arrangements, natural light features and decks and stoops for lounging and sitting. we hope you try them all! our saunas fit 1-6 people, with 6 being doable but definitely cozy. sauna #4 is more spacious and can fit up to 8 people.

pricing
we charge a flat rate per session. a visit is more affordable when shared with friends.
sauna #1-3: $120 for 1.5 hr session (6 ppl max)
sauna #4: $140 for 1.5 hr session (8 ppl), or $120 for those requiring ramp access.
[if your party exceeds the maximum capacity, you will be charged for the cost of an additional sauna rental]

facilities
there are changing cubicles, two communal showers for rinsing off, and two porta potties on site. we also have open cubbies for stashing your belongings.

beach & water
there is a small beach next to the saunas, accessible by a short stairway, perfect for a cold plunge after breaking a sweat inside (it’s possible to access the water most of the day except for very low tide so if you’re set on getting in the water, be sure to check the tide charts before reserving your slot!). we ask that you not go further than 20 feet offshore and discourage swimming, as there are often strong currents and there is no lifeguard on duty. currently, the beach is not accessible for wheelchair users.

COVID safety
we ask that guests take the necessary precautions when sauna-ing in a group. if you are feeling sick or having any symptoms, we ask that you do not use the saunas. because our communal facilities are exclusively outdoors, we do not require guests to wear masks. in between each use, we wipe down all surfaces, and let the saunas run at 175 degrees for a minimum of 10 minutes.

parties, events, retreats
we're taking a pause on buyouts for the moment! check back in very soon!

children
18+ only permitted up at good hot. both for safety reasons and for the consideration of other guests, we do not allow for children at our facilities.

dogs
unfortunately, no dogs allowed on the premises :(

lost and found
we hang onto forgotten items for one full month, after which all unclaimed belongings are donated.

hours
we are open on friday, saturday and sunday, from 9:30 AM - 8:00 PM. visits are all by reservation only, there is no drop-in bathing.

booking availability
reservations are available up to two weeks in advance. we are a small operation and this keeps things manageable for us :)

what to bring
swimsuit (disrobing permitted in the saunas but we ask that you wear a cover in the public areas), a towel (2 is even better, one for drying off, one for lying on), sandals or water shoes for the beach (a requirement for getting in the water as it is a bit rocky on the way out), and plenty of drinking water. feel free to bring snacks for after your session.

the location
our venue, point san pablo, is an active industrial park we share with our fellow tenants; truckers, contractors, a potter, and campers spending a night in the open air. it’s a beautiful corner of the bay made all the more special by it’s eclectic mix of activities and history. you will receive specific instructions with a gate code and directions in your confirmation email. we are a no-smoking facility.

cancellations
we will issue a full refund up to 48 hours before your reservation time, after which we can offer a 50% credit to use for a future visit. if for some reason we have to cancel (high smoke advisory, severe weather) we will try to contact guests 24 hours in advance of their reservation and issue a full refund.

wheelchair access
sauna #4 is our wheelchair-accessible sauna. our booking site price is $140 because of its higher max capacity, but is offered at $120 for those requiring ramp access (apply the code ADA_ACCESS at checkout). if possible, please contact us in advance so that we can remove the benches from the sauna to accommodate a wheelchair.

cooperative worker-owners
we offer worker-owners of other cooperatives & collectives a discounted rate to support them and their work building economic justice through workplace democracy. email us with the subject line “worker-owner” for the coupon code.

reduced rate sessions
each month, we offer a limited number of 50% off reduced rate visits for low income QTBIPOC. first come first serve, limit one per person per month. please fill out this form to receive a coupon.

ride reimbursement program
we're experimenting with another way to make good hot accessible to more people by subsidizing transportation costs up to $40 round trip per party. available to people who don’t have access to a car or carpool situation, and who have financial difficulty paying for a cab ride. please fill out this form and upload a copy of your cab receipts within 24 hours after your visit and we will issue you a credit.

flag program
the flag program brings a series of artists to good hot to enjoy a sauna and design a site-specific flag! after flying by the bay for a few months, each flag will be raffled off with all profits donated to an organization or mutual aid fund of the artist's choice. purchase a raffle ticket for the current edition here.
